JMA Hong Kong 2020 (International Jewelry Show) opened on 26 November and close on 29 November. Held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, Hong Kong this is the first physical show which is witnessing good participation from industry personnel. HKJMA has been organizing the JMA Hong Kong International Jewelry Show (the Show) since 1995. First held with only dozens of exhibitors at the HKJMA office, the show has expanded into a sizeable international exhibition in HKCEC in the last 20 years, becoming a major Jewelry event in Asia. There are professional jewelry artisans from HATTON Jewellery Institute to conduct demonstrations on the different process of jewel production, like wax carving, hammering, gem-setting and colour rendering, to let the audience witness the process of Jewelry production.
J-HUB Invites You to Role-play a Jewelry Artisan, with the mission for sustainable development of the local jewelry industry, A traditional jewelry-making workbench will also be set up there for visitors to role-play a jewel artisan.
JMA International Jewelry Design Competition 2020
“JMA International Jewelry Design Competition” is organized by Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association, and it has been receiving continuous support from the jewelry industry for over 20 years. The competition is to act as a global platform for potential designers to communicate and exchange creative ideas. It aims at promoting design excellence in the jewelry industry and enhance Hong Kong’s jewelry design standard.
This year, the competition theme is “UNION”, Under the current economic environment of Hong Kong, HKJMA walks hand in hand with the Hong Kong jewelry industry, and together in UNION, we will create a brighter future. Meanwhile, “Union” can also be translated into “One Heart” and “One Mind” in Chinese, meaning that Hong Kong jewelry designers and craftsmen are all with persistence and determinations, concentrating in their work wholeheartedly, and make Hong Kong jewelry shines brightly and stands without peers in the world.
