ICMCM 2019
The theme for this year’s conference is “TCM Modernisation & Internationalisation: Start from the Greater Bay Area”. Fifteen heavyweight speakers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Japan and Korea will share the latest research and developments, trends and prospects for TCM in the Greater Bay Area, helping industry professionals get a better understanding of the markets and opportunities.

On 17 August, public ticket-holders can join the Chinese Medicine Health Public Forum at which TCM practitioners will discuss health topics such as eczema, gastrointestinal care, knee care, diets for summer and autumn, and acupressure massage for pain relief.

ICMCM 2018
In commemoration of the 500th Anniversary of the birth of Li Shizhen, author of Compendium of Materia Medica, the conference will share the development of Ben Cao (a pharmacopoeia of Chinese herbal medicine) and its potential expansion.

There was 17 distinguished speakers from renowned institutions in Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the US. These include Hong Kong Baptist University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Seoul National University, St Petersburg State University and the American Society of Pharmacognosy.

On 18 Aug, public ticket-holders can take part in the Chinese Medicine Health Public Forum sessions where professional practitioners will discuss Chinese medicine dietary therapy for skin problems, anaemia and blood pressure control, diabetes, gastroenteritis, respiratory care and seasonal healthcare diets.

ICMCM 2017
The ICMCM take place on 17-18 August to keep industry players abreast of the latest trends and developments in traditional Chinese medicine. The conference will feature 16 distinguished speakers from renowned institutions in Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Korea and Macau, including the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Jinan University College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University and the School of Chinese Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The experts will share views on quality control of Chinese medicine products, pharmacology, internationalisation and successful cases.

On 19 August, public visitors can join Public Forum sessions by professional Chinese medicine practitioners, who will discuss various prevalent urban diseases such as shoulder and back pain, gout, adolescent scoliosis, lumbar pain, diabetes, and foot and knee joint pain.

ICMCM 2016
The Conference take place on 11 and 12 August to keep practitioners abreast of the latest trends and developments. Heavyweight speakers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau and the Netherlands share views on the opportunities from “Belt & Road Initiatives” and also the latest findings on research and development, regulations and legislations, commercialization and product development of the Chinese medicine industry.

ICMCM 2015
This year’s ICMCM features more than 110 exhibitors from 9 countries and regions. Demonstrating the international appeal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, exhibitors from as far afield as France and the United States will join the fair, alongside a strong contingent from East Asia.

To enhance the experience of fair visitors and facilitate product sourcing, there was eight exhibition zones at the fairground, namely; Beauty & Fitness, Chinese Medicine, Functional Food and Products, Health Supplement, Health Care & Therapy, Research & Development, Raw Materials, and Equipment & Related Services.

An important highlight of the fair is the two-day professional conference on 13-14 August, themed “CM Research & Commercialization on Cardiovascular Diseases” with heavyweight speakers coming from the Chinese mainland, Germany and Hong Kong to provide their expertise and insights into key industry developments, trends and research.

A two-day heavyweight ICMCM Conference (13-14 Aug) discussing “CM Research & Commercialization on Cardiovascular Diseases” provide a platform for experts to share their insights on the subject. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Baptist University is the co-organiser of the 11th International Postgraduate Symposium on Chinese Medicine (14 Aug). Complementing these events was an Exhibitor Forum featuring new products and services as well as a seminar on testing and certification procedures for Chinese medicine.

Other events include Exhibitors’ Forum, which provide a platform for exhibitors to present their latest products and services to visitors. On the fair’s public day (15 August), there was public sharing sessions conducted by Chinese medicine practitioners to give advice on how to apply Chinese medicine to daily life.

ICMCM 2014
The 13th edition of the ICMCM, brings together over 130 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia and Singapore.

The eight thematic categories cover: Beauty & Fitness; Chinese Medicine; Functional Food & Products; Health Supplement; Health Care & Therapy; Raw Materials, Equipment & Related Services; Research & Development; and Trade Association. A wide variety of innovative products also be on display including new health foods, supplements and creative solutions that promote the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

A two-day Conference under the theme of “Research and development on prevention and treatment of Endocrine-metabolic diseases in Chinese Medicine” was taking place on the 14 and 15 August. A total of 5 sessions was hosted by worldwide experts coming from the Chinese mainland, Japan, Russia, and Singapore, sharing the latest industry trends and insights into various Chinese medicine aspects.

Public day open on Saturday (16 August). At the Public Forum, coordinated by the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association, experts will share insights and provide advice on herbal products applications to daily life. Chinese medicine practitioners will also conduct seminars on prevention and treatment of Allergic Rhinitis and Cervical Spondylosis.

ICMCM 2013
This year fair is expecting more than 110 exhibitors from Canada, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan, to introduce their regional medicine to the global buyers.

ICMCM continues to run on a parallel-track format, allowing the extension of the external trade platform for Chinese medicine products while simultaneously gathering together industrial eminence for the exchange of information and for conferring on the direction of Chinese medicine development in the future. The venue was divided into different zones according to product categories to accommodate different health needs, including Chinese Medicine, Health Supplement, Healthcare & Therapy, Raw Material, Equipment & Related Services, Research & Development and so forth.

The two-day professional conference is a major highlight of the event each year. This year, the theme is “The Advanced Research and Development of Chinese Medicine on Cancer Treatment”. Worldwide heavy-weighted experts from Australia, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and the United States will share their insights into the latest industry developments and research findings, including Professor Cheng Yung Chi from the Yale University School of Medicine of the United States.

A public forum on Chinese medicine and health on 17 August, with practitioners offering health tips and advice on countering the summer heat. The ICMCM also features an educational display illustrating the benefits of Chinese medicine.

ICMCM 2012
More than 110 exhibitors and a score of expert speakers present the latest Chinese medicine products, services and intelligence at the 11th edition of the International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM).

The exhibition was divided into the following theme zones: Chinese Medicine, Health Supplements, Healthcare & Therapy, Raw Material, Equipment & Related Services, and Research & Development.

One of the ICMCM’s highlights goes to the two-day professional conference, which aims to keep participants abreast of the latest findings and applications of Chinese medicine. The theme for this year conference is “Chinese Herbal Medicine for Major Disease Burden and Health Promotion”, will feature topics include preventive treatment of disease, Chinese herbal medicine for vascular and immunological diseases and the bioactivity and standards of Chinese herbal medicine.

Experts from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Macau, Netherlands, Singapore and the US will gather and share their valuable insights. Heavy-weighted speakers include, Professor Li Da-ning, Vice Commissioner of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of P.R.C., Professor Chen Kai-xian, President of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr Mei Wang, Director of SU BioMedicine to share the first successful case of Chinese herbal medicine registration at European Union, Professor Zhang Bol-li, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Dr David Eisenberg from Harvard University, just to name a few.

Public Day was open on Saturday (18 August). At the Public Forum themed “Practical TCM tips to build up a healthy life”, Chinese medicine practitioners provide advice on how to apply Chinese medicine to daily life, featuring anti-cancer diet, seasonal diet tips, bone health and acupoint massage.

The fair also includes an educational display, which aims to enhance public awareness of the practical benefits of Lingnan medicine. Life-nurturing diet demonstrations is arranged to offer visitor to have a trial of delicious and healthy soup. In the meantime, Chinese medical practitioners also give advice and consultation service to visitors at the fair.

ICMCM 2011
The 10th edition of the International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) will welcome close to 130 exhibitors from eight countries and regions.

Participating countries include Canada, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. The event also features group pavilions from seven countries and regions including those representing Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Jilin, Qinghai and Sichuan on the mainland, as well as Taiwan.

The fair was divided into specific zones, with an educational display organised by the University of Hong Kong. An educational display coordinated by the University of Hong Kong was presented in the Hall 1A Concourse throughout the fair period.

Highlights include a two-day ICMCM conference under the theme “Milestone in Chinese Medicine Development” and an International Postgraduate Symposium on Chinese Medicine. The first day of the event will include the 7th International Postgraduate Symposium on Chinese Medicine. A 10th Anniversary Networking Reception on the second day of the fair will enable participants to exchange ideas and market intelligence.

Sessions on Regulatory Harmonization and Anti-viral & Neuro Treatments will share new insights on the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as well as compare regulatory practices related to TCM products in places such as Australia, Canada and the United States.

The 9th ICMCM, drawn the participation of more than 120 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions. The venue was divided into different zones according to product categories, including Chinese Medicine, Health Supplement, Healthcare & Therapy, Raw Material, Equipment & Related Services, Research & Development, and Trade Association. With a gathering of superb exhibitors from around the world and an abundance of information, the fair should once again bring in thousands of buyers.

The fair was divided into specific zones showcasing product categories. In Hall 1A concourse, an educational display coordinated by Chinese University of Hong Kong demonstrate Chinese medicine’s effectiveness in treating mental illness.

Highlights include a two-day ICMCM conference, 12-13 August, under the theme of “Research & Application” during the exhibition to offer a chance for industrial practitioners and academics to exchange ideas with experts in Chinese medicine from around the world, and to promote the further internationalisation of Chinese medicine.”

The professional conference “Research & Application” was held on 12 and 13 August. Topics include the latest development in the application, research, quality control, sustainable development, and digitalisation of Chinese medicine. Renowned scholars and industrial leaders was invited as speakers, making the conference an international event in Chinese medicine.

Co-organised with the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association, ICMCM feature exhibits in Chinese medicine, health supplements, health care and therapy, health equipment and related services, research and development among others. The distinguished experts deliver presentations on the following topics: Herbal Resources and Authentication, Life-nurturing through the Modern Application of TCM, Regulations and Standards for Chinese Medicine, New Concepts in Chinese Medicine Research, and Chinese Medicine from IP to IPO.
