Typical projects of buildings of secondary schools (Типовые проекты зданий общеобразовательных школ) – the projects on which schools were built in different cities of the USSR.

In Russia
The most common in Russia are the buildings of general education schools of types MU, 65-426 / 1, V-76, I-1605A, I-1577A. In the pre-war period, the development of typical projects of school buildings involved the architect KI Jus-Danilenko. In 1935 he completed the project of the Moscow school on Usachyovaya Street, 66A, which was then placed in the basis of a typical project of a school building of southern orientation. In 1938 he developed a similar model project for the northern regions of the country. In 1936-1938 the projects developed by KI Djusom-Danilenko were realized in more than 60 buildings. In 1938 he developed a new model project of the school, which received about 10 implementations. From 1949 until the mid-1950s in Moscow the most common wereschool project LA Stepanova.

According to the analysis of projects of school buildings implemented in the regions of Russia in the 2000s, conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2009, during the construction, standard projects developed in the Soviet era were used. The development of new projects for the construction of school buildings was announced as part of the National Educational Initiative “Our New School”, approved in 2010.

Abroad
In Canada, Finland, Norway, where the climatic conditions are similar to those in Russia, a modular approach to the construction of school buildings is common. The essence of this approach is that the frame itself of the building is typical, the same for all schools, and the interior decoration and design vary significantly depending on local conditions and the demands of teachers.
