Review of 126th China Import and Export Fair, Canton Fair 2019 Autumn Phase 1, Part 1, Guangzhou, China

The first phase of the 126th Canton Fair was held in the Canton Fair Complex from October 15th to 19th, 2019. The theme of the first phase is high-tech. The exhibitors aim at the latest demand trends in the international market, launch many high-tech, high-quality, and high-value-added products, striving to move toward the high-end of the global value chain. Enterprises attach importance to the construction of independent brands, strengthen the technological and cultural connotations of the brand, and at the same time build an industrial chain integrating production, design, and channels with the brand as the core, so as to improve the overall competitiveness of independent brands.

The total exhibition area is 1.185 million square meters. The export exhibition has 51 exhibition areas according to 16 categories of commodities, with a total of 59,678 booths. There were 12,125 brand booths, 47,553 general booths, 25,000 exhibitors in total, and 8,728 exhibitors in the first phase.

In addition to the large-scale exhibition, this year’s Canton Fair will also host many wonderful supporting activities. Approximately 20 high-end themed forums, covering international economic and trade frictions, trade risk prevention and control, RMB exchange rate, supply and procurement docking, trends and other fields.
