Alicè Pasquini

Alice Pasquini (Rome, 1980) is an Italian artist, one of the few women active on the Street Art scene.

Biography
Alice Pasquini studied art in Europe: she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and a Master in Critical Art Studies from the Universidad Computense de Madrid in 2004 – and in Australia and maintains a small workshop in San Lorenzo, Tiburtino, in Rome’s artist district.

Her works have been reviewed by newspapers such as the International New York Times, La Vanguardia, Euromaxx, Panorama, and Internazionale.

Street artist, painter, illustrator and set designer, has developed over time different researches, from the narration of female vitality to installations with the use of unusual materials. Considered one of the few female exponents of Street Art active and operating internationally, during her career she has built masonry works on the streets of various Italian and foreign cities such as: Marseille, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Oslo, New York, Buenos Aires, Yogyakarta, Naples andRome. He designed Vertigine, the fifth book by Melissa Panarello, in 2011.

In 2013 she made a series of works for the Capitoline Museums in Rome , some of which are visible in Piazza del Campidoglio, and she also collaborated with the Italian Cultural Institute in Singapore and the Montevideo Institute of Culture.

In 2015 she collaborated with the Tourism and Culture Assessor and the Legal and Coastline Assessor of Rome for the 3D project Under Layers in Ostia.

From April 2016 she is the artistic director of CVTà Street Fest in Civitacampomarano, a festival of contextual art and street art.

For the street she found her relationship with the French graffiti artist Christian Guémy, aka C215. She is one of the few women who is known worldwide in the art of graffiti.

Her works have been on display at the Saatchi Gallery, American Embassy in Rome, Museum of Contemporary Art (Rome).
